Thursday, April 6 – Sunday, April 9, 2017 | CSU SACRAMENTO
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) changes lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support and development.
The SHPE Sacramento Professional Chapter and the California State University - Sacramento Student Chapter are proud to host this year's Region 1 SHPE Regional Leadership Development Conference (RLDC) at California State University - Sacramento from April 6th to April 9th, 2017.
The Regional Leadership Development Conference is a great opportunity for students and professionals from Oregon, Washington and Northern California to come for a three-day event full of empowerment, leadership and professional development.
This year's theme, From Green to Gold, is used to reflect our individual path through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). SHPE provides the tools necessary to inspire the next generation of innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
The three-day conference will include interactive workshops, networking events, leadership development competitions, and an engineering expo in which all SHPE members will have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, create lasting relationships, and share some of best practices of their local chapters.
