Hey Familia! My name is Raymond Cortez, and I’ll be serving as your 2025–2026 SHPE Vice President. I’m currently a Computer Engineering major here at Sac State with a strong interest in wearable technology, and I’m also an active member of MESA. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and girlfriend, reading, working on personal projects, and watching shows. Hi SHPE Familia! My name is Analaura, and I’ll be serving as your 2025–2026 Treasurer. I’m a third-year Civil Engineering student with an interest in Water Resources. Outside of school, I love staying active indoors and outdoors, reading, doing crafts, and enjoying sweet treats with my boyfriend. My name is Joseph A. Muniz. I’m a 4th year Electrical & Electronic Engineering student focused on power design. It is my career goal to one day work developing power generating systems for space bound technologies. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with family and friends as well as golfing. Aside from school, I love spending time outdoors: Whether it’s rowing, hiking, or just being active in nature. I also have a huge sweet tooth for sour candy and love coffee! Currently, I’m interning at SMUD as a distributed energy solutions intern. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, painting/drawing, crocheting, building things and welding. Outside of classes, I’m on the Sac State Rowing Team, enjoying pasta a little too often, or finding a way to bring up pigs in conversation because, honestly, they’re my favorite. I’m passionate about connecting people with opportunities, building community, and bringing energy to everything I do.
